What deletion removes: your Pawzit account, name, email address, Firebase Authentication record, Firebase user ID, and map markers associated with your account.
Delete your account in the app
- Open Pawzit and sign in to your account.
- Open your account settings and choose Delete Account.
- Confirm the deletion when prompted.
Request deletion without the app
Email us from the address associated with your Pawzit account. Use the subject line Delete my Pawzit account and include the email address used for the account.
We may ask you to verify that you own the account before completing the request.
What is deleted
- your name and email address;
- your Firebase Authentication account and Firebase user ID;
- credentials stored on your device; and
- map markers associated with your account.
What may be retained
- Feedback: feedback text and submission time may remain because no account identifier is attached to feedback.
- Analytics: pseudonymous Firebase Analytics records may be retained for up to 14 months.
- Crash reports: Firebase Crashlytics reports may be retained for approximately 90 days.
- Legal and security records: limited information may be retained when reasonably necessary for legal obligations, fraud prevention, security, dispute resolution, or backup integrity.
Delete some data without deleting your account
You may also email support@pawzit.app to request access to, correction of, or deletion of personal information associated with your account. Some Analytics and Crashlytics records are pseudonymous and may not be identifiable as belonging to your account.
